To The Forgotten Teddy Poem by From Horhe

To The Forgotten Teddy

I'm just a girl, feeling cast aside,
With blemished skin and a heart I can't hide.
In silence, I linger, a world of my own,
Like a teddy forgotten, frayed and alone.

Left by the roadside, weathered by time,
Dust-covered dreams, no reason, no rhyme.
No gentle hands to sew the seams,
No one to ask what my sadness means.

The world parades its radiant few,
The flawless, the gilded, their beauty in view.
But under the lights, where perfection gleams,
So many are lost in the space between.

For every polished diamond that steals the day,
A thousand hearts break, left in dismay.
We're told we must shine, to fit and belong,
But who decides what makes us strong?

Dear girl, the mirror is just a shard,
It cannot capture the depths of your heart.
Acne and scars, they don't define,
The brilliance within, the fire divine.

You are a story, unwritten, profound,
Each mark on your skin is a battle unbound.
Rise from the ashes, let judgments fade,
You are a masterpiece, exquisitely made.

Forget the world's gaze; let it drift away,
You are your own sun, your own light, your own day.
In the tapestry of life, you are the art,
A symphony woven of soul and heart.
