if i will be made to choose
between you and the stone
i will choose the stone
for it will not make any difference at all.

if you replace it with a flower
i will choose the flower
i always wish that everything will simply be temporary
at wilting time i will be free
from your thorns and tendrils

if you offer me silence
i think i will accept it immediately
i like its simplicity i like its being a prelude
to something much higher

rest, could be, but think a little more,
i will give you a hint, the silence of the widower.
