To The Youngest Brother - Poem by RIC BASTASA

in your rage
i am not a cage
in your wasteful manner
i have seen all the danger
in you hysteria
i am but a listening hyena
i understand all these
without any malice
young brother
i had been there
and for the last i shall this tell
i am always your mantel.
