To What Depth Must We Sink Poem by Alison Mujati

To What Depth Must We Sink

To summer, spring, winter autumn. As men
The indomitable,
Aggressors never charitable
The book of insane descriptions
Hands of iron
grips of infinite submissions
Oppressors of feminine counterparts.

heroes are seen as villains
Cowards die many times before death.
Bleeding through every vein
Still, none feels the pain.

War firing lines brand us shields
Every agonizing arrow piercing restlessly
That gives smiles to deceiving faces
And suffer more in silence than anyone should.
If anyone realises the importance,
We could be commemorating our existence

For how long will the trend go?
You, the very head of every family
protectors to the pride of the other kind
Yet in failing all goes in vain.
Who remembers a man with a weakness

Fifty they fight fifty other rights
The world applauds as this is achieved
In tougher times, soft voices quit.
No one questions this loophole.
Looks like a smart card by the existence
That which gives some immunity.
Where is equity now?
The trend goes whenever wherever.
