To Whom Ever It May Concern, Poem by Doug Bri

To Whom Ever It May Concern,

This shadow,
The sentiments I once share with you,
The longing love i once had with you,
The time we shared with one another,
The dates we used to go on,
The places we used to met,
Your memory haunts me and hurts me deep,
I brought you into my heart and into my home,
Brought down my walls to accommodate you,
My mistake, It was my fault,
I should of never let you in,
I should of never brought you home,
If i knew the kind of person you truly were
I would have fortified them soon,
Cowardice in me, for every time my phone rings
Drove me to get my phone deactivated,
Strength and motivation from my friends and family
Impulse me to be strong, and not fall apart,
To keep on moving despite the lack of heart,
Reasons abound to your rational,
Confidence within you that your doing right when clearly you have done me wrong...
