To You Poem by Verbaas Mij

To You

If I went with the flow
and let one person go
from my fate,
I take you down with the way I hate.
I'll make you feel like the grave you take.
I’ll drown you out by the silent lake.
No keeping secret behind my back
or ill turn around and ill attack,
With verbs and words of action.
Brings s-satisfaction.
It takes me back to golden days
in the golden rays
of summer’s last delights.
The one day
I look back in fright.
Plow your own death you dirty sinner
because the pills don’t make you thinner.
Take just one more night alone
or stay with me back on the phone.
Don’t lose your one last chance
at saving someone’s life
and ask for one last dance
with the one I want, my wife.
When last breaths vapors float away,
your one last deed has been repaid.
Till death do us part,
you loved with your heart.
That’s only what I wish for.
Keep falling down right at the door.
Eternal life awaits my call,
one last life calls it back.
I reply and stand up tall,
I’ll wait for you now, come back.
