To You My Love - Poem by Jessi Miller

Just take this knife
Then take my life
It's what you've always wanted
Taste the sweet flood
Of warm red blood
Of the ones you've haunted
Their lives you take
For their mistake
You, for years, they've taunted

You love their pain
The colour drain
As they turn deathly pale
With every drop
You will not stop
I know you all too well
Wicked smile
All the while
Whispering your deathly tale

So take the knife
Then take my life
It's what you've always wanted
Taste the sweet flood
Of warm red blood
Of the ones you've haunted
Theirs lives you take
For their mistake
You, for years, they've taunted
