To You, My President Poem by John Sensele

To You, My President

Rating: 5.0

To you, my President, who would rate
Realities of covid 19 as a hoax crate
Despite mounting figures and facts
I enjoin you to revisit your selective amnesia acts.

To you, my President, who would select
Realities of two justice systems you elect
By your acts of commission and omission to amplify
I plead for your economy of truth to mollify.

To you, my President, who would rouse
Realities of fringe thinkers to arouse
The worst instincts in Americans
I urge you to contain emotions you unleash from injustice jerrycans.

To you, my President, who would convene
Realities of unmasked attendees to intervene
In your bid for reelection
I urge you in a fair manner to fight the November election.

To you, my President, who would berate
Realities of medical evidence as a threat
To misconceptions you embrace
I urge you to accept facts and figures with grace.

LOL That's not going to happen. But good poem, worth a try though I guess.
