To Youth
A harm to the youth
Is a bruise to the future;
Hindering to the youth
Only hinders the future’s
Possibilities.
A brighter future
Lies solely in our children,
Just like they once laid
Solely in your arms.
The dog that ventures
Far from home,
Comes back a wiser mutt;
But in the end,
He always comes back. While
The dog that is caged
Only barks at what
Could have been.
