This morning is so wet and dark
With a very heavy drizzle falling
No stars or moon up in the sky
And no early birds are calling
The weatherman says it should brighten
With heavy showers now and then
He thinks this trough will fizzle out
But he really can't say when
Now the rains stopped, the sun is out
But will it last all day
By 4 o'clock it's overcast
And the sun has gone away
Predicted weather for the weekend
Is gusty, windy squalls
But Sunday should be drier
And I think it will suit us all.
