Today - Poem by Paul Gerard Reed

To each day
Let there be joy confined therein
Such that the day is a perfect entity
With no fear of the night;
Let faces be shining and happy
And laughter fill the air
And sweep the hills;
Let the moments be drawn out
And strung together
In a seamless robe
To wrap the whole day around;
Let us live for now
And not dread tomorrow.
