Today it is a blessing to be here
To see the flowers and trees
To hear birds sing their song
To see again my best friends

Today it is a blessing to be here
And see again my dear family
To have the sun's waves bounce
Again on my still young face

Today it is a blessing to be here
For new experiences and adventures
The possibilities are limitless
Such a gift I have today

Today it is a blessing to be here
To know you are ever so near
Your eyes shine beyond the light
of any sun and blessed I truly am
