World peace.
that is all anyone ever asks for
but of course when it rains, it pours
and the people of the day
dont have a nice thing to say
and people are trying
while others are dying
but I guess that is just today.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
The world is an ugly place. I wrote this poem after my teacher had showed my class what had happened in Syria around April 5th. It saddens me that so many people die everyday and its starting to become just a regular thing and no one seems to care.
