Today And Yesterday. Poem by Cynchris Adamski

In the back of my mind I know what is right.
Sadfully these thoughts never stir at night.
For while I slumber.
my mind and heart plunder.
If only I could keep my sanity.
Trade in my incessit vanity.
Go back to a time when all thoughts and feelings rhymed.
Now I find myself staring into my own presence
forgetting to give the recent past remembrance.
This life its been good right.
Everything that happened and happens is for a greater light.
This I hope with all my might.
This I feel in my fight.
Why doth it have to come so sudden and soon.
and leave before I can groom- it.
Yesterday was good.
Yesterday I was good.
But why reflect there if I could.
Stare into the present create the future.
These words are what many face every day.
These feelings how do i erase, is there any way?
