Today Speaks Of Tomorrow Poem by Sujan Azad Parikh

Today Speaks Of Tomorrow

Rating: 5.0

It's a beautiful world no doubt

But, with lots of pain

The poor don't get food and clothes

And the rich expend

Skyrises and skyscrapers block the sky

When was the last time, you looked up and said, 'Why'

We are killing animals and wasting nature

Time will come when we'll say this isn't future

Preserve what you have today

So that tomorrow never fails

Nature is bold and beautiful

As long as we care and never quell

Fine and lofty verse written with clarity of thought and mind. An insightful creation set aside for sober reflection. Thanks for sharing Sujan.
