Today, The Shortest Day Poem by Mohammad Younus

Today, The Shortest Day

Today, the shortest day,
Tomorrow, time stretches wide—
Eternal it flows.

Shortest day retreats,
Time unfolds like gentle waves—
Endless, yet so near.

Solstice whispers soft,
A promise of growing light—
Eternity waits.

Moments pass, dewdrops,
Flowing into vast oceans—
From there they emerge.

Dark nights take to flight,
Shadows cradle coming light—
Dawn renews the day.
