Today is gone, again
Plans not accomplished, again
Promises of tomorrow, a deceit
Tomorrow will come
Yes it does, never ceases
But today is gone, again
It dies
Unfulfilled, again
No time, no time for a befitting burial
We await tomorrow, still
Today, we live in yesterday's tomorrow
Again we await tomorrow's tomorrow promises
Tomorrow awaits not
In this irony, best thing would be to trust not too much on not-come-yet-tomorrow or repent at all about by gone today, but to focus on available today. Thanks for the inspiring poem.
Live in the moment, right? Thanks for reading Jayatissa K Liyananga.
