With some baby steps you came to my life
Firm and stern, crawling
The first words which you said
In my heart it is still bubbling
Your sweet voice, still agonises
In happiness, that reminds me, I am not in pain
Whenever you cry
My sorrows divulge and see no gain
Your endeavour towards me
Makes me feel out of the world
Like a lion for its prey
My heart always growls
Understanding you and your thoughts
Is hard for me
But I still try, to understand
To make you see
Single touch of yours
Sends my imagination in flowers
When you are asleep
You are just like a toddler
