Together Again Poem by Esme Varley

Together Again

Rating: 3.0

Sitting, in the velvet armchair
Her wrists placed on each of the arm rests
Her spine sinking into the cushions

She tilts her head back slowly
Closing her eyes to give them some respite
Though she could still see a fuzzy light as the sun shone on her eyelids

The warmth of the rays hugged the skin on her face
As she began to ever so slightly smile
The corners of her mouths moving steadily - she sighs.

Melting into the warmth and light she hardly notices
The light is brighter now
And curiously she opens her eyes

She sees him
And smiles again
She has been found

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
