It's really difficult to explain
Why I can't maintain
Why it gives me so much pain
When I am in love, and
You want us to be just friends.

From the moment I saw you
My heart got the clue
You were the fire that my soul desired
The music that sets aside every fear
You were that someone special, someone dear.

Bits and pieces of my life
Scattered clumsily here and there
Finally got a reason to unite.
Everything felt beautiful than before
As if the ocean had kissed the shore.

When you shook hands with me
It felt magical,
I felt free.
That one moment felt like a glimpse of forever
Baby, we're so meant to be together.

There's a rush of feelings within me, and
I can feel you feeling the same.
Whenever our eyes meet by chance,
Our voices quiver; not enhance
Our heartbeats dance filled with romance.

I wish there comes a day
When you smile and say
Our friendship has staged its play
Let love evolve us now, make way
Togethet we'll be forever like the sun and its rays.
