Together With God Poem by Edna Zimmerman Prentis

We worked together, my God and I.
To told Him my dream. He listened.
It looked impossible. He said, "It is possible."
I started my journey.He directed my path.
The way became rough. He said, "Keep on."
I got so very tired. He said, "Don't quit."
The hills grew steeper. He said, "Keep moving."
Finally, I saw my goal. He said, "Finish the race."
At last my dream came true. He said, "Rejoice!"
We did it together, my God and I.
