Tomorrow
You, to me, were like tomorrow
Always just a day away
Sometimes I would get so close
And you'd seem only a minute from me
But then... I'd slip back
And the wait was yet another day
Such a personal poem that could be applied to more than just a loved one, to a dream or a standard even. This one made my mind race with the first read, so few words so much to think about.
