Tomorrow's Thanks Poem by Randy McClave

Tomorrow's Thanks

As I look at these days,
The good times and the bad
The days that made me glad,
Not once did I give the Lord praise.
On my knees I need to thank him,
For every second of them.

I need to thank the Lord for now,
For this present day that I live in
He knows where I have been,
He gave me this day as a vow.
So, I must live everyday complete
Until that day the Lord and I will meet.

Tomorrow is a forever,
And every moment is a skip
But, indeed it's just a short trip,
Eternity is an endeavor.
One thought I will always keep in mind,
Always be kind.

We are promised today,
But, not guaranteed a tomorrow
Fill our heart not with pain and sorrow,
Clasp our hands and let's pray.
Thank the Lord for our living,
And thank him also for all his giving.
