Tomorrow‘s Way Poem by Monica M Engeler

Tomorrow‘s Way

The sun was down for the day,
but the sky was sparkling with evening colors
Of yellows, oranges and red.
The colors were mesmerizing.

The moon floated high above already
It seemed time was standing still for a moment
Lets think about a moment of time
What have I done to stay who I am?

There is no one that shows me a way
Only my illustrative dreams,
They are my visions for tomorrow
It does not matter where I go.

Time is traveling faster and faster
My path travels where ever I go
Those thick lines just get thinner in time
Who am I now?

I am free to live a life that is free.
I am still discovering answers
Listening to words that come together
I will walk the path that was meant to be.

I reach high to the evening stars
Come and give me the future
Wondering hoping of no fear
Tomorrow will always come.

Good night tomorrow is another day.
