Too Afraid To Fall And Die Poem by Anaswara Divakaran

Too Afraid To Fall And Die

My colourless nothings and your rainbow smiles,
They made the perfect lock and key ever,
I thought.

Today when I opened my eyes
I had my memories all twisted around,
and you were all lost...

I sat under our mango tree all alone.
No mangoes, no swings,
no children playing around,
and no sweet puppies whimpered.
Just me and a lonely tear drop, too afraid to fall and die.
