Anaswara Divakaran Poems

I'm not me.
Some savage beast
From good old days
Of my own past
...

I didn't know how hurt she was.
She didn't see my wounds that remained unattended.

We both were hurt.
...

3.

Though I haven't seen her for so long,
I still think of her.

There were moments she needed me, I was never there.
...

I was always asked to tie up my tongue and exist as if I didn't exist.

To stifle my cries and put concealer on the Crimson marks that adorned my body.
...

My colourless nothings and your rainbow smiles,
They made the perfect lock and key ever,
I thought.
...

I'm all gone
I know not when.
But it happened.
It all happened.
...

7.

Tears I shed
I know not why.
I am woman of seamless strength
immovable and impenetrable.
...

With the slow sunset,
The world, taken up by contagious silence,
Stares at a fragile soul.
The hour of pity smiles at a bikiny clad ghost.
...

A Woman stood in the middle of a muddy road,
With her drooping shoulders, ragged clothes swinging in the monsoon wind.

Her chappal-less feet had cracks, through which her blood strained to peek at the world.

They fit into your fingers like they were always meant to be there, Follow your feelings like no one else could,
Makes you soft, just by being there with you,
Becomes your one and only choice,
Until one day they don't write anymore...

A woman walked in with a grin on her face.

Her friends left her on the cold ground to seek warmth on their own.
Her boyfriend's wife called her a home-wrecker and threw coffee over her.
...

When I say you are pretty,
I don't mean it as a comment on how your lips twitch when you get nervous,
How you play with your fingers when I compliment you,
How your eyes reflect galaxies when I look at them,

When I was six and said I wouldn't share my Ice cream with him,
He puckered his strawberry lips.
I bit the choco-bar and drew him into a kiss.

Anaswara Divakaran Biography

Life unravels infront of you, Each second pass you by, and you stand dazed by the events, people, nature, city lights and everything that surround you. Sometimes love find it's way to you, with slow strides and so does hate. Sometimes you are taken over by hurricanes of sadness, guilt and hunger. And sometimes you just want everything to stop, For the world to stop turning, For everything to stop, or for you to drift into unknown labyrinths of peacefulness. ..... My poems are excerpts from my own life, some of them imaginary, But hell, they are all personal.)

I'm Not Me

I'm not me.
Some savage beast
From good old days
Of my own past
Has jumped up from nowhere
And suddenly swallowed me.

An existence of short term lease
Has gone stolen.
Now I'm hollowness
Sheer hollowness!
My latitudes and longitudes
Transformed into the beast's abode.

I painstakingly struggle.
Only to find more of the beast in me!
I'm not me!

This is not a quote! I am not a poet... I don't want to be one! I just now deleted my poems from poem hunter! All of them! And those who read my poems... Sorry! ! ! Well I don't know if they were really poems or something else... It was so foolish of me! ! !
