Too Eden Poem by The Lastdon

Too Eden

Again you stand before me in shame

Tempting as I am for you shall not utter my name

The fruit is what I crave stranger, that is why I come in shame

we lived this story before and the results are always the same

You look so pale you talk so clear should I trust you my dear or should I hunger in fear

I must admit, the world I see, your future is as clear as you stand before me

Take one bite and you will see that you are no different soon too be me

Just tell him it was the apple that had fell from a tree

You have no arms, you have no legs you walk with you belly and burrow with your head

I know how it ends soon you shall see as angels fell from the heavens and poisoned the trees

It is inevitable what your future will be

For the juices flow from your lips you shall fall before me.
