Too Many Masks Poem by Sebastian Soberania

Too Many Masks

too many masks
why?

they are so beautiful
and kind
and adorable

too unlikely
that they shall detest
the act of masking
the part that wants still to be unknown

selfish privacy
conceals the many forms of kindness
too much honesty kills
too much truth numbs

the world too is dressed with trees
and beautiful seas
covered with sands
and tickles the time that merely passes by
