Too Much Exposed Poem by Leon David Guerrero

Too Much Exposed

Rating: 4.5

We can say to love a heart
would be some easy if I try hard,
but we can say also is a problem...
if find it shiny I step no longer.

Of two ways a beauty can take you both...
from one it feels heaven while from other it hurts,
so how high is the level
which I've got to love?
Forget it! There is no level... To love is too much.

Say better don't try to if you feel in doubt...
to go with the fear, to feel it going down!
For loving would go to the fooliest things
and sadly could say: That's not what I've seen

First time my wings I used them
when I thought you were my way...
but now, why has it vanished
tenderness I loved one day?

Then they became my true tools...

And that's unbelievable for me to say
where is that lovely scent I had already gotten?
Cry out I need them to fly away...
because my honey warmy world got rotten!

Clearly and from far now I can see
what I couldn't in that moment...
to give a full love turns the risk
that leaves your heart too much exposed.
