Tormented Poem by Edward Ukwimi

Rating: 5.0

Sometimes its rock bottom where i have to pick me myself up
I must say this when motivation doeslittle to help
Losing everything
My mind, a heart to love and losing my religion too.

I have mumbled a few prayers to the heavens
But it seems am not getting through
Hello is anyone out there

Andthe devil want to turn my mind into his industry
Where the hell do these thoughts comes from.

Tired of walking the line
Moving in circles
When i stand am i a victim of gravity
That's explains why easily fall

The grass is always greener but not in my yard
I keep sending distress signals no one seems to pick them.

To life I've always given my best,
But i heard the wicked don't have rest
But i heard Calvary came to the rescue

Its hard to admit but sometimes i feel like dying
But i was never taught that
throwing in the towel is the way.

If i choose my way
Maybe a highway that does not lead to hell
The voices in my head keep getting louder

To be depressed
That i refuse
My heart is built with iron bars

I will avenge for myself
That's my endgame
If i shed a tear it will be reminder that damn it am alive and pain is normal.

Lord save me
From myself.
