Torn Destiny Poem by Hanif Hassan Barbhuiya

Torn Destiny

I see before me
A torn piece of destiny
They say, God sees us all
They say, God never denies a soul
Thousands at his bidding
They say, Be patient and present
They say, It is all his intent
I see not how my light is gone
My true self in chide
Thousands of hopes charred
Nothing amid the shadows of deceit
A true patience is hard to bore
Yet one never fails to follow the lore
Days and night went by
And yet still I see before me
Shattered, mine destiny
