Torn From You Poem by Azul Noir

Torn From You

In those fleeting and innocuous moments
We unknowingly and invisibly intertwined
My desire inextricably fused with yours
An uncalled entanglement formed
Pieces of me exchanged quietly for pieces of you

Without warning my breath feels shallow without you
Distance has slowly torn you from my body's fibers
Removed you from my being haphazardly
I am unraveled from you standing here unwhole
Left bereft and obsessed and unwittingly so

When we meet again I will melt into you
Your heat will wake me and your touch bind us
I will fuse with you, knowingly absorbing you this time
I will not mistake what exists as us in that moment
And then again I will be left torn knowing you were never mine
