God wants to give us a future
God wants to make us whole
Not with staples or suture
But cleansing our sinful soul

Through faith in Jesus Christ God’s Son
Man can live evermore
Life’s eternal crown, can be won
Life’s keys, to true life’s door

Though impossible this may sound
Though foolish when first heard
Life’s truth, life’s facts, are swiftly found
In Christ, God’s living Word

In the bible, written in love
We read of saving grace
Of Christ, life’s only Way above
We’ll see The Father’s face

But first, life’s mountains we must climb
Life’s traps and trials to beat
Repent of all life’s wanton crime
Sitting at Jesus’ feet

Learning to walk, learning to live
On God’s living Word to feed
Learning the best, we have to give
To other souls in need

It may not, be easy at first
As many souls have found
But those who hunger, through who thirst
Will rise to Holy Ground

Put life’s failings far behind you
Life’s Goal before your eyes
In Salvation’s Way continue
Where no one ever dies.....
