Traces Poem by Matty Reynolds

Traces

When you entered into my heart, I'll never know.
But, yes... I did come to know when you left.

In spite of our efforts, we always fail when it comes to removing the traces of each other from our respective hearts.

I was so close to holding you again,
I was blocked by your shadow,
It just passed by me as you walked away.
I grabbed at it. Shook it.
Made it turn to me for
Love has made me blind.
But in your eyes I see
Your thoughts and desieres.
To the world you are just a mere person.
An entity in the travel of life.
Yet to me you are the world.
The sun to my moon.
