Trapped in overwhelming darkness,
I look up—cracks appear in its ceiling.
Through those cracks, light begins to seep,
faint yet unmistakable.
At first, fear twists what I see,
whispering lies: It's lava—
scorching, punishing, searing.
But then, a whisper touches my heart:
Be certain—this is not hellfire,
but the light of heaven.
Feel my presence beyond the glow.
This terror does not harm—
it heals.
As time unfolds, truth reveals:
The light was not lava, but love—
not punishment, but an invitation.
The Divine reached out,
breaking through fear and disbelief,
offering the connection I thought was lost.
This light did not destroy me;
it transformed me.
The fear I felt was not an end—
it was a beginning,
a doorway to something greater.
Now I see:
There is a force—
call it God, the Divine, the Truth—
working through us,
guiding us toward the light,
even when fear blinds us.
Darkness is not the absence of light;
it is where light begins to break through.
Fear is a mask, concealing truths
that long to set us free.
It's not about names or forms,
but an undeniable presence—
a love that flows through all things,
within, around, always guiding us home.
