Travelling And Wandering Poem by Arundathi Santosh

Travelling And Wandering

Chase down the sunset
Find more pages to turn
Live the people I met
Still more chapters to learn

Break down the walls
That hide the mystery
At the Angel falls
I'll be living a dream

I'll take it out on my passport
Have it filled to the brim
Summer nights in shiny boats
Escaping out till I trim

I'll be struck by happiness and
I'll have my heart to listen to
Touring the world like a band
Skydiving away from the things I need to do

I'll escape from the life in the city
Live in the glossy twilight
Find my way through the pretty
Get into a fake bar fight

Walk down the world's avenues
Embrace my new polaroids
The whole world's in shades and hues
Fruits of colors hanging

Waves crashing
my hair in the sand
skies laughing
feet away from land

find rainbows in the dark
fireflies as I sleep
dangers as I lark
for time isn't knee deep

ill let the sunrise wake me up
not ofbroken dreams
an other boulevard but
something of living realms

ill be dancing in the pale moonlight
along with my favorite people
the light from our eyes shining bright
and the campfire we lit staying humble

ill be running like hopeless
finding a new town
spreading confetti but as kindness
to the dark side of sundown.

The darkest alley and
The brightest of cities
Plane never grounded
In and out of different hotel lobbies

Hometown I don't loathe
I just admire a new atmosphere
My dreams don't stay they float but
My home, my heart will always be in there.
