Go ahead, tread the trodden path,
But please don’t let out your wrath
On those that make their own road,
Because they did not yours abode.
Life offers to each a different road map
And also different opportunities to tap.
Go ahead, chart your own course,
But don’t pull others on to it by force.
We may be travelling to the same destination
But the routes could be our own for exploration..
So go ahead, embark on your trip
But don’t try to take me in your grip.
After our respective travels, we may meet -
You a cool dude and me, all burnt in heat!
We will then share our travels and travails;
Until then, I’ll go my way whatever it entails.
