Treadmill Poem by Kamarudheen Amayam

Treadmill

Rating: 5.0

Bought from
Ibn Batuta Mall
In Dubai
Damn expensive
And maddening speed!
Too keen
About health condition
From that day on
Started this walk..
Walked past
Batuta, Muhamed Asad
Huang Chang
But, didn't see them
Except for the blue curtain
That covered the glass wall
When I go to Emirates Mall again
Should buy for sure
A globe
To keep it blown up
In front of my walking.

2) Juxtapositioning the mall and its namesake IBN Batuta is a brilliant idea. Good poem. Enjoyed. Please share the original in Malayalam
