Tribute To The Girls Poem by Eden Sheffroth

Tribute To The Girls

I've got me a few good friends
More powerful than the tide
We're gonna be together until the end
Were on one hell of a ride

First of all we got Tasha
The first of my all time buds
You can always trust her with your hearts deep secrets
She will always love you and never give ya up

Then we have flighty Anita
With her soft brown eyes and flirtatious grin
She always leaves men wanting, wishing for more
It's one of her mortal sins

Who can forget witty Candace
She always sticks up for her friends
Her candid wit and sarcasm is hard to make of at first
But she'll stick by you until the end

Then there's lost little Kasey
Filled with poetry, mystery and muse
We've lost touch along the way
She's easily mislead and believes she's the suspect of abuse

And then there's me
The observer, the witness, the mediator
I'll sit here and write the story of our precious lives
How these girls took a broken girl and healed her

Even though most have lost thier way
And we aren't as close as we once were
I'll never forget those endless nights and glorious days
When five girls came together and against all odds grew closer
