Troubled Fathers Poem by Earnest Gatuma

Troubled Fathers

They said 'son! ',
Many fathers stepping down paternal-ish,
'Humility is timidity and passive criticism',

I reckon talking back,
'Why is that? '
'Because your folly outdoes your big mouth! ' the biological father reprimanded.

Silence I have been taught to practice,
But my personality now grows out of me,
I talk too much,
And an advocate of Daknes Not.
