True Friends Poem by beautiful imperfection

Friends are like gold,
their memories never die,
they'll love you when you're old,
and when you want to cry.

So remember that you're true,
and always on my mind,
even when you're blue,
or your words are so unkind.

True friends will always shine,
and keep you in their hearts,
they'll tell you 'you're mine'
even when you're far apart.

With that, I want to say
these things are oh, so true,
and if you say I may,
I'll always remember you.
