True Happiness Poem by Cindy Nwajei

True Happiness

What is true happiness? and Where can I find it?
I've been searching all my life to find the answer to become the answer, yet it evades me like running after a balloon that has already floated away.

It has become too late. Is it locked? and Where can I find the key?
I've been through so many keys and treasure chests to find it, yet it slips through my fingers like sand.

Are there any clues? and Where can I find them?
I've been analyzing the mystery of true happiness, yet the answer fades away like a snowflake that just hit the ground.

Will true happiness ever be able to be held? Will it ever be able to be seen? Will it come my way? or Will it be in my sight never allowing me to grab hold of it?

According to my past...well, and current, experiences, true happiness is always in your reach, you just have to be willing to reach over the edge and risk falling in order to reach it. I risked everything...and Happiness let me fall, so don't get hopes up that you WILL find it. I wish you better luck than I had With lots of luck and hopes, Tessa
