True Love Poem by Tulsi Shrestha

True Love

TRUE LOVE
A pair of pegion flew down
to bank of river to satisfy their thirst.
They played with ribbles of water
and shared the best moment of their lives..
Alas! suddenly a crocodile jumped out
and catched male pegion in its mouth.
He went to the middle of river to chew
and enjoy flesh of its small prey.
The female pegion watched it with eyes
full of tears and heart with deep pain.
She watched her beloved through out
the whole night with illusive hope
that he might come back from jaw of death.
She doesn't fly away, remained there,
watching her beloved to come back.
Cruel crocodile came again to ensure
its fabulous and delicate feast.
Pegion remained like a statue and
decided to surrender for her love.
Crocodile crushed her in its jaws.
The souls of true lovers
meet each other in its digestive tract.
One could be so loyal
to the extent of one's death.
Indeed it is true love
A striking example
of infinite Love.
