True Love Poem by Brian Hairbottle

True Love

When you love someone,
you think you know all about her
that the life
that touches yours so closely
has a few secrets',

But the longer I love you,
the more I know you,
the more I realise
what a complex person you are,
full of private thoughts and feelings
tucked carefully away in secluded comers
of your heart,
like hidden treasures waiting to be found
by someone who cares enough
to look ''

I'll always search out
those quiet corners with you,
because loving you
has been an endless voyage
of discovery, and I truly love you
