I heard it said
that time heals all
Why then am l so sad? ?
Time seems to have failed
...

Where can l hide away?
I dare not go and play
What will I do, if they should see? ?
the bruises and battle scars
...

Another day is dawning as the sun rises
yet another day of torment to face
My head aches, my eyes hurt
My body is cold and stiff
...

My poems
are frozen moments
Captured, scrawled on cigarette boxes
in stray moments
...

But, life is about who you low and who you hurt.
It's about who you make happy or unhappy purposefully.
It's about keeping or betraying trust.
It's about friendship, used as a sanctity or a weapon.
...

So much has passed through my life
at one time I had so much pain and strife
Death wishes and attempts to kill myself
have come and passed, some close, by knife
...

Here l sit, in my room
in silence and gloom
Yes, l can walk again
but I wonder for what gain
...

Here l lay on the ground
with broken body and confused mind.
My life blood is seeping
my eyes are weeping
...

9.

This army
has had me in its ranks
For nine hard years, I have seen
Friends dead, women tom open
...

The tunnel is long and dark
who will ever want a cripple? ?
Why would they not leave me to die? ?
Why must my life be a battle? ?
...

lf tomorrow Never Comes..
lf I knew it would be the last time
That I'd see you full asleep,
I would tuck you in tighter

Where else in the world can you find the magnificence that is Victoria Falls?
the roaring sound of the torrents of water that echo through the halls
of each individuals mind who experiences this phenomenon.
Where else in the world will you see a sunset with hues of orange and crimson?
...

We walked over hill and through vale
looking for others that should not be
they were the invaders of our land
leaving signs that would tell tale
...

A friend should be Radical
they should love you when you're unlovable,
hug you when you're unhuggable,
and bear you when you're unbearable.
...

Love is filling from one's own,
to another cup;
love is the daily laying down
and taking up;
...

16.

Beside the mighty roar of the majestic waterfall
In silent awe
listening to the call
of Mother Nature
...

17.

The wind spreads the song in the dewy glade
Where the birds have sung
the verses of a love already made
In time before memory can recall.
...

The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears,
the figure she carries' or the way she combs her hair,
The beauty of a woman must be seen in her eyes,
because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides,
...

When you love someone,
you think you know all about her
that the life
that touches yours so closely
...

I wish that I could be with you
And hold you in my arms,
Whisper all my love to you
And kiss away your tears.

Father Time

I heard it said
that time heals all
Why then am l so sad? ?
Time seems to have failed
in its task to heal

Father time, with your flowing long beard
why have you not heard?
The words l cry every day of my life
to remove all this torment and strife
Are my tears all in vain

I do not call for you any longer
nor do I wish for you either
You have failed me to my core
and I know and now call for
The rattle of deaths call

Daily I search for the hood
and the scythe,
that the grim reaper
carries in his travels,
as he goes to gather
To add to his brood

Yes, I would welcome you
with arms wide open and heart true
With the wish
that like a caught fish
You would take me to the wild blue
