A whisper in the heart, a steady glow,
A feeling words can't catch, though we may know.
It's more than smiles, more than a gentle touch,
A something vast, that means so very much.
It's a storm inside, a calm when you're near,
A secret language, banishing all fear.
You try to tell, but sounds just fall away,
Too much to hold, too bright for any day.
It's a secret map, drawn only in your soul,
A different rhythm, making spirits whole.
The mind can't grasp it, logic takes a pause,
This endless ocean, without spoken cause.
A river flows, too deep to see the end,
A love that bends, and makes you comprehend.
Not with your voice, but with your very core,
A mystery held, now and forevermore.
