True Love Is Happiness (Sonnet #287) Poem by Tina Baaklini

True Love Is Happiness (Sonnet #287)

I asked happiness where I can find her,
Compute gratitude minus discontent,
The higher the proceeds, the happier
You'll be, she said with no further comment.

Then I pleaded true love where I can find him,
I'm as rare as blue diamond, love answered,
I dwell in pure hearts who love souls beyond limbs,
Soulful love dies not nor is ever altered.

I look at you sweet Love and breathe with glee
For happiness and true love with you I
Found; your tenderness is my felicity,
It carries me beyond the seventh sky.

But remains one question to ask you Love:
How can you sum up everything I dreamed of?
