True Monsters Poem by Ellen Rose Guilaran

True Monsters

Sleep on my own
With no feelings to hold
Selflessness is losing yourself
Your emotions and thoughts
Never
Your own to begin with
And you'd still be miserible human
Branded with no honor, light, or truth
Because real humans could no longer benefit from you
They, the true monsters
