True writer
She, my ex-professor,
-doubtlessly has read much
-she tries to abide
-by wisdom of learned and expert
-among them Hemingway
Ernest says:
-The author must have fact as the core
-to use as foundation and column.
With fact as keystone,
-writer can construct,
-on it roof and ceiling,
-later shelves and décor
-with windows in the walls…
His wisdom and advice is great;
-If writer goes in mist and the dust
-if track of hero vanishes in mirage
-if by chance Scott has vertigo,
-gets dizzy, on steps when climbs…
-can go back, find the core and rewrite …
She follows Hemingway everywhere
-whatever she writes is related to herself
-part of it comes from her mother
-who ignored family, travelled…,
-left behind the husband, children…
The feelings she has of her mother
-have made some gorge, grudge
-emptiness with anger…
-and she is …
-one can see when talks
-annoyance of her mom obvious!
Her writings spiral, are whirlpools
-make funnel, pour to heart,
-secretly end in mind!
"…Linda said" is just one.
