Truly Everlasting Poem by Mery todd

Truly Everlasting

Rating: 5.0

I have been dying to tell my secret.

it's killing me inside.

I want to shout it until mountains collide

because there is this person

that makes my heart melt

I dream of a day when you can join me

along side the stars. Its impossible

to breathe around you, just the

though of you makes me blush with

craters. We shine brightly in the sky together

but I know we could never be. For

you are the sun and I am the moon

a staggering kiss could break

our spell. But I know this how we

must stay because I am night and you

are day. And as I watch as you dance

around the earth. I know this is how

forever we must stay.
